Dear friends,

Birthdays are very important. Regardless of culture or age or waist size - everyone has one. So I think everyone can and should celebrate. And damn if I'm gonna be left out.

You are very busy people but coincidentally very important to me. I want you to celebrate with me, but would never dream of forcing you to re-arrange your entire life around me. So I give you ten days of activities, events, parties, meals, trips, strippers, and games to choose from.

DECABRATION IS INCLUSION!

And as a convenient side effect, my birthday lasts for more than a week. Specifically, ten days of birthday celebration extravaganza! [grin]

The DECABRATION isn't self-indulgent, or self-centered, or self-ish. Well, it IS all those things, but not JUST those things. There's still a little room for you.
